What to Expect on Photo Booth Day: A Complete Setup Guide

If you’ve never had a photo booth at your event before, knowing what to expect on the day can make everything run more smoothly. Here’s a complete walkthrough of what happens from the moment we arrive to the moment we pack up.


Before the Event: Confirming Details

About a week before your event, we’ll confirm arrival and setup time, venue address and loading details, booth placement within the venue, final template design, print format preference, and any special venue coordinator instructions.


Arrival and Setup

The photo booth attendant typically arrive 45-60 minutes before your event start time. We unload and transport equipment, set up the backdrop, camera, touchscreen, and printer, run test photos to check lighting and print quality, lay out the prop table, and do a final check of the template. We handle everything — you just need to show us where the booth goes and where the power outlet is.


During the Event

Our professional attendant stays with the booth for your entire rental period. They welcome and guide guests to the booth, help guests with the touchscreen, manage the prop table, reload printer media as needed, ensure photos are printing, and handle any technical issues immediately.

Photo Delivery

Prints are in guests’ hands within 10 seconds of the final photo being taken. Digital copies are available to guests after the event. After the event, we send you a link to the full online gallery within 24–48 hours where every session is available for download in full resolution.


Breakdown

After your rental period ends, breakdown takes approximately 30–45 minutes. We pack up all equipment, take down the backdrop, and leave the space clean. You don’t need to be present.

  • A flat, stable surface for the booth
  • 1 prop table
  • A confirmed setup location before we arrive
